Pose ideas for couples who are far apart
Posing together from two cities takes a bit of practice, because you're both really posing towards the line in the middle of the photo. These are the ones that work best for us. In a room, pick one and a faint outline shows up on both your cameras so you can line up.
Half hearts
Each of you makes half a heart with your hand, touching the middle line.
Holding hands
Reach your hand to the middle line, low, like you're holding theirs.
Forehead touch
Lean in and rest your forehead right on the middle line. Close your eyes.
Pinky promise
Raise your pinky to the middle, both at the same height.
Back to back
Turn sideways with your back to the middle line, arms crossed, trying to look cool.
The lean
Left: tilt your head onto their shoulder. Right: sit straight and throw a peace sign.
The squeeze
Both arms out to the middle like you're hugging through the screen.
Shocked faces
Hands on your cheeks, mouth open. Bonus points for drama.
Cheek kiss
Left: lean in for a kiss at the middle line. Right: turn and offer your cheek.
Chai cheers
Raise your mug to the middle line. Clink.
